Asus Zenfone 3 is just a month or two away from an India launch, and we expect Asus to announce all three variants of the phone we saw at Computex last month. In addition, Asus may also introduce the Zenfone 3 Max and Zenfone 3 Laser. The company has recently announced these two phones at a press conference held in Vietnam. As the names suggests, the Zenfone 3 Max packs in a larger battery and the Zenfone 3 Laser features a laser assisted camera.

Both the Asus Zenfone 3 Max and Zenfone 3 Laser are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. The Asus Zenfone 3 Max offer a metal unibody design and sports a 5.2-inch Full-HD, 2.5D curved glass display. It will be available with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. However, the USP of the phone is its big battery. The Asus Zenfone 3 Max sports a 4100mAh battery, which the company claims can provide 30 days of standby time. Apparently, the current gen Asus Zenfone Max features a 5000mAh battery. The Asus Zenfone 3 Max has been priced at VND 4,49,000 (Rs. 13,510 approximately).

The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser on the other hand is a camera centric phone and features a 13MP camera at the back. It uses a Sony IMX214 sensor which is aided by Asus’ PixelMaster 3.0 technology. The camera features a second generation laser assisted autofocus system which Asus claims can focus in 0.03s. The rear camera also features EIS (electronic image stabilization) and a colour correction sensor. It is 7.9mm thin and features an all metal unibody build. The Zenfone 3 Laser with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage is priced at VND 5990000 (Rs. 18,050 approximately).
